The Story
With this pattern, you can knit the perfect sweater to wear just about anywhere. The White Elegance Cardigan was designed with Mary Maxim Kashmere worsted weight yarn, that offered 272 yds/140 gm ball at the time. We no longer make Kashmere, but you have a wonderful variety of worsted yarns to choose from! Keep in mind yardages vary. Yarn requirments for this project: Sz 30-36 (5 balls) and 38-44 (6 balls). Also requires knitting needles size 5 (3.75 and 8 (5 mm), and cable needle. Fits sizes 30-44, length from shoulder 23" (58.5 cm). Intermediate knit.Â
