Men's Sailing Time Cardigan Pattern

Time to set sail! Knit this nautical cardigan using our vintage pattern in your sailing teams colors! Featuring set-in or raglan sleeves.  Originally knit with Mary Maxim Northland wool in 1965 which offered 80 yds per skein at that time. We currently offer a wide assortment of brands and colours to choose from in bulky yarns! Please note yardage differences. We recommend Premier Basix for this project. Materials List: MC Sz 38 (10 skeins), Sz 10-42 (11 skeins), Sz 44 (12 skeins). All Sizes: CC1, CC2 (2 skeins each colour). Requires size U.S. 10 (6 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles. Fits sizes 38, 40, 42, and 44" chest. Also available in children's and ladies' or youth sizes and other sailing designs.

Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase, decrease, repeat, stockinette stitch, coloured pattern knitting method, fair isle knitting.
