The Story
Craft the Pheasant Hunt cardigan using our classic graph-style pattern. Includes raglan sleeves and a shawl collar. This design was originally created with Northland bulky yarn but can now be made with worsted-weight yarn for a more lightweight option! The original yarn used was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, providing approximately 240 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit your style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. We recommend Mary Maxim Starlette! All you need are U.S. sizes 4 (3.5 mm), 6 (4 mm) needles to begin! Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit.Â
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase, decrease, repeat, stockinette stitch, coloured pattern knitting method, fair isle knitting.
