Use our Mary Maxim vintage, graph-style pattern to knit this classic Harness Racing cardigan. Win, Place, Show is on the front. Raglan or set-in sleeve patterns included. Mary Maxim Titan or Northland wool was used originally, which had 80 yards per skein. With all the varieties of bulky yarn today, including Titan, the choices are endless! Materials List: Size 38-40 MC 48 oz., Size 42-44 MC 52 oz. CC All Sizes: Horse (4 oz), Fence (4 oz), Hat, Pants, and Sweater (25 yds each), Face (5 yds). Requires knitting needles sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and U.S. 10 (6 mm).
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase, decrease, repeat, stockinette stitch, coloured pattern knitting method, fair isle knitting.Â
