Child's Twinset Pattern - Sizes 2 - 6

Knit this sweater set using our vintage Mary Maxim pattern. Pattern includes instructions for both the short-sleeved pullover and long-sleeve cardigan. Designed using Mary Maxim Mellowspun DK sport-weight yarn that provided 210 yds per 2 oz skein at the time. With a variety of sport-weight yarns to choose from today, including Mary Maxim Mellowspun, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Materials List Cardigan All Sizes: MC. (8 oz.), CC1 & CC2 (30 yds each). Short Sleeve Pullover All Sizes: MC (6 oz.), CC1 & CC2 (30 Yds each).  You'll also need knitting needles size U.S. 4 (3.50 mm), 6 (4.25 mm), and 7 buttons for the cardigan. Fits sizes 2-4-6—Intermediate knit.  

Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, slip stitch, stockinette stitch, repeat, decrease, increase.
